Hi, Loves! Summer 2017 is well under way and though it's not my favorite season, I do love summer fashion and beauty. So I couldn't let the summer pass by without sharing some of my summer makeup favorites. It has been about 90 degrees here in Houston, TX most days! Add the fact that I am currently 4 months pregnant with twins and you'll understand the struggle. Many days I spend inside working from home and only do my makeup for my YouTube videos. When I do have something more to do my default look is simple fresh makeup look. So here are a 3 of my summer makeup staples!

1) Wet N' Wild Mega Glow Highlighting Powder

This product retails from about $5.00 to $7.50 in store and online. I was able to get it for $5.00 at my local Walmart store. Wet N' Wild typically never fails me when it comes to affordably and quality. This product has been my favorite since I purchased it. I'm not really into Highlighting products in general but this Highlighting Powder is just right for me. There are different pigments that'll work well for different skin tones. I've gotten so many compliments about my "glow" lately due to my pregnancy but finishing off my simple makeup look with this product contributes to my glow.

2) NYX "Set It Don't Fret It" Mineral Matte Finishing Powder

This product retails at $9.99 on average. Did I mention that it's been 90 degrees here? Setting my makeup is almost always a must during the summer months. I have combination skin but the humidity here makes me look like an oily mess by the end of the day. Not to mention the creasing under my eyes as well as my smile lines. Thankfully, this product is affordable and works well throughout the day.

3) Limelight 10 Years Younger finishing Spray

This product retails for $28.00. It is sold online or through an independent Limelight retailer. It's totally worth the price and a new favorite product of mine. I typically spray this finishing spray on after finishing my foundation routine. I let it dry completely and then apply my finishing powder, blush, mascara and lipstick. Incorporating this product into my routine has really made a difference in the staying power of my makeup. Limelight is an up and coming beauty brand that you should definitely check out! Here's my trusted retailer's site: https://www.limelightbyalcone.com/amburleeprice/products

If you haven't guessed it or found out through my social media, I'M PREGNANT WITH TWINS!! My husband and I are totally overjoyed to be welcoming twins by December 14th, 2017. As exciting as this time has been, it has also already started to change our world so much. I am planning out much more content for you guys in regards to this journey and my usual content. This time in my life is definitely one that I want to cherish but I'm working on balance.

I'm currently 3 months and everything is going amazing so far. I'm looking forward to a happy and healthy pregnancy. I'm staying positive and doing my best to get all of my nutrients. So far so good! As far as being pregnant with twins goes, I was able to conceive them naturally. This is a huge blessing considering that we had been trying for a couple of years. I had my first ultrasound at 9 weeks and was completely surprised that we discovered two growing embryos with strong heartbeats. For awhile I couldn't even imagine being pregnant let alone with twins!

I have been referred to a multiples specialist and my little ones will be monitored closely throughout my pregnancy, which is typical for multiple pregnancies. I'm looking forward to discovering what type of twins I'm having whether identical or fraternal. I would love fraternal boy/girl twins but we're both truly completely happy with either combination or genders. Just praying for healthy and happy babies in the end. My heart is already filled with so much love as we plan for their arrival. This journey won't be easy but we are so ready for it and excited to share a part of this journey with you all. Hang tight as I get back on schedule with my content and than you for taking you in advance for your continued support of Tcholesworld blog & YouTube channel.

Hi Loves, It's been awhile since I've blogged and I will definitely be updating you guys on a big life change that will affect my blog for the better. But first I had to bring you this fabulous collaboration I got to do with some other fabulous black bloggers in the Houston area. I absolutely love summer style but especially a beautiful summer dress. As a woman of color, it was even more of a treat to  join forces with these other stylish women of color. Also, the different body types represented in this collaboration really make me proud to be a woman. We are truly stronger together! So whether you're a fan of floral or solid colors, fitted or flowing, long or short, we've got you covered!

Most of us leaned towards a long maxi style dress but you'll notice the short off the shoulder green dress that Nneka from www.queenofsleeves.com is wearing. I opted for a fresh white maxi dress with the ruffled detail from Amiclubwear.com. The spaghetti string style works perfectly if you want to show off your shoulders as well as have some top support. I added some chandelier earrings and a statement ring from forver21. I wanted my look to be effortless and comfortable but still chic. That is essentially my style.

There are definitely a lot of choices when it comes to summer dresses. You should chose a summer dress style that has breathable fabric for hot summer days but definitely reflects your style. That is exactly what all the beautiful ladies pictured did. All of the styles were comfortable and fit each of our individual styles. Not to mention, each styles flatters the body types represented.

From Left to Right: Bukola (Shugar and Spice), Nneka (Queenofsleeves), Itoro (HowIstyledit), Me, Shareka (Therealsamplesize)

I encourage you all to check out each individual blog to check out more from this collab and other fabulous content from these ladies! I've linked all of the blog info and outfit details below for each of the ladies featured in this post below!

Hi beauties! As you know if you've checked out my previous post, I'm pretty fresh off of a fabulous trip I took with my husband to Puerto Rico in March. I spent most of the trip in my bikini and cover ups enjoying the weather and beach. Of course I got a couple outfit shots in for my blog just for you guys. ;) I purchased this romper from Zaful.com and ironically it was one of the clothing items on my Zaful wishlist.

Though it's a beautiful romper, I wasn't sure if I would really be able to rock it. Embroidered clothing is a hit or miss for me. Especially the way the sleeves are a sheer material and embroidered. I was crossing my fingers that I wasn't receiving a beautiful outfit that was too uncomfortable to wear. Luckily for me, I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable the romper is. It's also just the right amount of glitz to draw attention but not blind anyone. lol

The length is perfect for spring and summer but not too short. I'm 5ft 6in and most rompers are a little too short for my height. I was actually able to sit down without this romper riding all the way up and it is flattering to my back side. Surprisingly, I really like the green embroidery as well. It's a subtle pop of color mixed with the cream/nude color of the romper. The fabric is also quite light and breathable despite all of the detail. I paired it with a simple closed toe nude pair of heels. You can definitely pair this romper with some nude sandals as well. Overall, I felt absolutely fabulous and I was complimented several times.
