I absolutely love trying new natural hair products but I am very careful to check the ingredients before applying anything to my hair. That is why there's nothing better than hair products with all natural ingredients. I discovered Hair Of Nature while serving as a guest judge for the Miss Black & Natural Pageant 2017. There were several other great vendors there but I knew I had to see what Hair of Nature was all about. The owner Danyelle was really polite and you can tell that she believes in her products!

So what's so special about Hair of Nature? Well, every product is made from high quality plant based herbs, oils and butters. So no petroleum, no mineral oil, and no sulfates! Which means that you won't be putting any harsh chemicals in your hair. For anyone suffering with hair loss, products with only natural ingredients would be a good place to start on your journey to regrow your hair. It's also good to use products with natural ingredients in general to maintain the health of growing hair.

I'm really glad to have found the Hair of Nature products and add them to my hair care routine. My personal favorites from the product line are the Healthy Hair Oil and The Hydrating Leave In Conditioner. Though I've tried a few other products that I really like as well. I love these products so much that I decided to do a giveaway for you guys! Comment below with your email address if you'd like a chance to win!

Hi, Loves! As I'm getting back into the swing of things, I wanted to share my fitness goals as a new mom. It won't be easy to be consistent with my lack of time and sometimes lack of sleep due to caring for two infants but I'm committed. I also delivered my twins via C-Section so I'm starting slow and building my regimen as I go. I gained a total of 45 pounds during my twin pregnancy and I've lost all but 10 pounds. This is a great starting point for me as I return back to having a fitness regimen. I'm thanking my lucky stars that it seems I was mostly, "All Belly" as I was often told during my pregnancy.

In the images you'll see displayed in this blog, this was my very first day returning to working out. I was able to take the boys to the park and I was also accompanied by my husband and dog Rocko. The boys happen to love their car seats so power walking and slow jogging in the park works well. I plan to be spending more time outside working out because it helps me to clear my mind and get some fresh air. I stay home with my boys and take freelance work as a photographer, which I've been doing for a couple years now. Being at home more often for my boys is a blessing but it can also be pretty isolating so I'll be getting out as much as possible.

It is nearly impossible to reserve certain days and times with two infants. So I plan to workout 3 to 4 times a week and at this point I don't have planned days. My goal at this point is to get at least 30 minutes to an hour 3 or 4 days as week. I'll be incorporating quite a bit of cardio in order to shed those 10 pounds. I've never been really into weight training and I won't be starting at this point. Using my own body weight and light weights with higher reps has always helped me tone. I'll be keeping things simple at this point and sharing my results after a couple months.

I'd love to hear from you other moms and those of you who've started a fitness routine for 2018. Hopefully we can be a source of motivation for each other!

Hi, loves! It's been a little while since I've been able to blog but for good reason. As many of you know, I was pregnant the greater part of last year with twin boys. They were delivered Via C-Section on November 28th, 2017. My twins share a birthday with my late grandmother Isabella who passed away the month after I found out I was pregnant. Call it a sweet coincidence or fate but either way it definitely feels like my grandma is watching over my little ones.

ROMAN (TWIN 1)

ZAIN (TWIN 2)

I was 37 weeks and 5 days at the time of delivery. Roman (Twin A) was 4lbs 14oz at birth and Zain (Twin B) was 6lbs 7oz. My surgery went very well and they were both born healthy with no major health issues. Recovery was initially pretty tough but I'm almost completely back to normal after 6 weeks. I couldn't be more happy to have my boys here and thriving as well. I'd go through everything 10 times over for my sons. Watch the video below where I recount all of the details of my C-Section for those of you who are interested in the play by play. I included some footage and a few more images we were able to capture from that day. Plus, my boys make a quick cameo at the end of the video. Enjoy! ;)

Happy October Loves! I absolutely love fall and can't wait for the fall leaves! Today I wanted to share some photos from my baby shower that took place in Richmond, TX. My amazing mother decided to throw us a Co-Ed baby shower and we were so excited to celebrate my twin boys. A group of my friends and family decided to join us and it is always good to share special moments with those you love. This was definitely a memorable day and one of the highlights of my pregnancy.

Though I am having twin boys, I requested that my shower be fall themed since it was taking place the last weekend in September and as mentioned, I LOVE FALL! So the colors were gold and white with an accent of different color fall leaves. I was very happy when I showed up and saw how the space came together. The decor was kept to a minimum but came together beautifully. I really couldn't have asked for much more.

We enjoyed food, sweets, drinks and some fun baby shower themed games. We were also showered with many gifts that we can't wait to use. I'm glad to have hired a photographer and friend of mine to capture the day. Shout out to Ursula from UYC Photography for all of the awesome images from this special day! Everything is so surreal and I can't help but image my boys here already. <3
