Happy October Loves! I absolutely love fall and can't wait for the fall leaves! Today I wanted to share some photos from my baby shower that took place in Richmond, TX. My amazing mother decided to throw us a Co-Ed baby shower and we were so excited to celebrate my twin boys. A group of my friends and family decided to join us and it is always good to share special moments with those you love. This was definitely a memorable day and one of the highlights of my pregnancy.

Though I am having twin boys, I requested that my shower be fall themed since it was taking place the last weekend in September and as mentioned, I LOVE FALL! So the colors were gold and white with an accent of different color fall leaves. I was very happy when I showed up and saw how the space came together. The decor was kept to a minimum but came together beautifully. I really couldn't have asked for much more.

We enjoyed food, sweets, drinks and some fun baby shower themed games. We were also showered with many gifts that we can't wait to use. I'm glad to have hired a photographer and friend of mine to capture the day. Shout out to Ursula from UYC Photography for all of the awesome images from this special day! Everything is so surreal and I can't help but image my boys here already. <3

Hi loves!! It's been forever since I've had the time and the clarity of mind to blog. I really appreciate those of you who have been patiently awaiting new content. Today, I feel great and I was able to film for YouTube as well as share an outfit post. When I first got pregnant I was sure that I'd be uploading tons of maternity style posts but the Texas summer heat was unbearable. I also have been even more of a home body than I've ever been. Believe it or not, most times I shoot outfit posts from what I'm wearing that day. BUT, that's enough of explaining myself. LOL. Just know I'll be making my way back to blogging and YouTube slowly but surely.

Fall is not only my favorite season but we're starting to see slightly cooler weather. It'll only get better as we enter October soon! My maternity style has become more so what I can fit as I've just entered my 3rd trimester with twins. Thankfully, I can still fit into a lot of my pre-pregnancy clothing. This particular sweater dress from Forever21.com is one of my favorites! The fabric is stretchy and cozy for a cooler fall day. The fabric is also not too heavy but thick enough to provide some warmth if needed. Though this isn't a maternity dress, I like how it hugs my bump. The slits at the tight on each side that are really cute as well.

I was able to throw on some black leggings and combat boots from Shoedazzle.com. My leggings are from Walmart and they are probably my favorite pair because of the net detail. The boots are great for fall and comfortable for my easily swollen feet. They have great grip and a strong base to support me in all my preggo glory. I feel completely comfortable in this style during my pregnancy and it is a look that can easily work for post pregnancy.

Looking forward to sharing as many maternity style posts as I can be delivering my sweet baby boys. In the meantime, I hope you like and share this post! <3

It's so surreal to be at the point in my pregnancy where I can take maternity photos. Just last year I was admiring all of the beautiful maternity photos I saw on Instagram and Pinterest thinking, "When will it be my turn?!" Pregnancy has it's ups and downs but overall it is one of the biggest blessings that I've ever experienced. Just watching my belly grow and the progress my babies have made has been amazing! I chose to shoot with one of my favorite people and photographers who has shoot me on several occasions. Big shout out to Photographybynnene for capturing me and my husband so well.

I was 27 weeks (6 months and 3 weeks) which really worked out perfectly for me because I'm definitely showing but I didn't feel too uncomfortable. I got my beautiful gown from Amazon.com and it was so affordable but definitely exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to feel feminine and show off my bump but still very classy. I don't think I could have picked a better dress for this shoot. My handsome hubby wore a nice clean white button up with navy slacks that really went well with my look.

We were able to laugh and had so much fun capturing these shots. This shoot was definitely one of the biggest highlights of my pregnancy. As a first time mom, it was so important for me to capture this moment in time. I honestly think I would do it again if we choose to get pregnant again but I'm definitely thankful that I was able have these beautiful images captured. We will cherish these pictures forever! I definitely wanted to share some of my favorite shots with you guys and I hope you love them as much as I do!! <3 <3

Hi, Loves! Summer 2017 is well under way and though it's not my favorite season, I do love summer fashion and beauty. So I couldn't let the summer pass by without sharing some of my summer makeup favorites. It has been about 90 degrees here in Houston, TX most days! Add the fact that I am currently 4 months pregnant with twins and you'll understand the struggle. Many days I spend inside working from home and only do my makeup for my YouTube videos. When I do have something more to do my default look is simple fresh makeup look. So here are a 3 of my summer makeup staples!

1) Wet N' Wild Mega Glow Highlighting Powder

This product retails from about $5.00 to $7.50 in store and online. I was able to get it for $5.00 at my local Walmart store. Wet N' Wild typically never fails me when it comes to affordably and quality. This product has been my favorite since I purchased it. I'm not really into Highlighting products in general but this Highlighting Powder is just right for me. There are different pigments that'll work well for different skin tones. I've gotten so many compliments about my "glow" lately due to my pregnancy but finishing off my simple makeup look with this product contributes to my glow.

2) NYX "Set It Don't Fret It" Mineral Matte Finishing Powder

This product retails at $9.99 on average. Did I mention that it's been 90 degrees here? Setting my makeup is almost always a must during the summer months. I have combination skin but the humidity here makes me look like an oily mess by the end of the day. Not to mention the creasing under my eyes as well as my smile lines. Thankfully, this product is affordable and works well throughout the day.

3) Limelight 10 Years Younger finishing Spray

This product retails for $28.00. It is sold online or through an independent Limelight retailer. It's totally worth the price and a new favorite product of mine. I typically spray this finishing spray on after finishing my foundation routine. I let it dry completely and then apply my finishing powder, blush, mascara and lipstick. Incorporating this product into my routine has really made a difference in the staying power of my makeup. Limelight is an up and coming beauty brand that you should definitely check out! Here's my trusted retailer's site: https://www.limelightbyalcone.com/amburleeprice/products
