2nd Annual Voice Your Invisible Wounds Conference

I'm so honored to have photographed the arrivals of such strong and inspiring individuals who attended the 2nd Annual Voice Your Invisible Wounds Conference. This two day conference was held inside the Norris Conference Center Houston/CityCentre September 25th and 26th. I photographed the formal gala dinner and award ceremony arrivals on September 26th.
The honorees and speakers all looked truly amazing as they posed on the carpet. As a part of the media coverage team I was able to get up close and hear some of the honorees amazing stories. So though I didn't attend the actual conference I was able to get a good idea of it's great importance. I can't help but feel like I should be involved in their causes and I hope this will inspire some of you too. I applaud the conference host/founder Alissa R. Jones for her work and for bringing other inspiring individuals together to share their stories. There's no better way to bring awareness and inspire others than to hear directly from people who have overcome great odds. I encourage you to visit the links provided to learn more about these survivor stories and their work.
