MY NYC TRIP X NYFW experience DAY 3 & 4!

I'm back to recap day 3 and 4 of my New York trip & NYFW 2016 experience. By day 3 I really was so ready to attend the activities and shows I had planned. I also knew that I needed to dress with style and comfort considering the amount of walking involved in getting places. Not to mention that the summer heat hadn't gotten the memo that it is almost fall time. *sigh*

Day 3 outfit of the day was one of my favorites of the whole trip. The top is a fabulous floral print sheer crop top. Underneath I wore a black bralette that fit underneath my top seamlessly. I paired the top with a cute A-line skirt. I got the entire outfit minus the shoes from...drum roll please....Forever 21! The gladiator sandals are from 10 dollar and went just as well. I felt care free and stylish as you may notice from the photos snapped by my fellow blogger pal Crysy Couture.

My blogger girl group and I hopped on the subway headed to Brooklyn for the Essence Block Party. It was extremely hot and though I am used to the heat living in Texas, I'm not used to running around the town in it. Immediately I became exhausted and was totally over being outside but I was able to grab a cool spot over looking the water and the city. I made sure to capture the view of the Brooklyn bridge. It was definitely cooler by the water than it was in the crowd of people at the event. Unfortunately, I don't have any images from the Essence Block Party outside of my live social media posts. Myself and my blogger pals were literally melting. lol

We decided to catch the ferry across the water to check out the Tommy Hilfiger fair where the designer had a show the previous day. The fair was so cute and we were able to view some of the pieces from the collaboration between Tommy and Gigi Hadid. I was glad to head back to the hotel to shower up for the shows we had planned to attend. That evening we attended the last night of Style Fashion Weeks shows. All of the designers collections were absolutely fabulous! I was able to capture images from each of the featured designers collections. Day 4 was a day of exploration. I took a city bus tour with a small group of ladies all from Houston. We ended up in Harlem and had quite the fun adventure. We stopped by a famous tattoo shop and admired the painted murals. We also took the opportunity to have several photo ops along the way. I was also able to round up a few souvenirs. It was great to take it easy the last day and have some time to reflect. That evening we laughed and talked while having a few drinks.

Once again I opted for comfort and style with my day 4 outfit. The mock turtle neck crop top and the faux suede pants are from Genrevaein. My flats are from shoe dazzle and I love them! I was able to get a few snapshots of my outfit for you guys below.
